Prohibits all establishments in Santa Fe from providing single-use plastic disposable shopping bags for the purpose of carrying away goods from the point of sale. Requires plastic bags to have a minimum thickness of 2.25 mil. Allows recycled paper and reusable shopping bags. 
Requires paper bags to be 100% recyclable, minimum 40% PCW, and no growth fiber.
Reusable bag is defined as a bag with handles that is specially designed and manufactured for multiple reuse and is (1) made of cloth or fabric and /or (2) made of durable plastic that is at least 2.25 mil thick.
Silver City
